Several studies report an impact on the reduction of heart disease. And, some adherents refer to the program as the “Reversal Diet”, claiming that it reverses heart disease.

Walking is the preferred form of exercise, 30 minutes per day or one hour three times per week at 50% to 80% of their maximum heart rate. The Ornish diet program also deals with stress management, depression, and emotional relationships.
